Terry found the idol on Exile Island after being sent there multiple times by the Casaya tribe. This was a powerful 'Super Idol' that could be played AFTER the votes were read, similar to the Cook Islands idol. Despite possessing this powerful advantage, Terry never played it. He won five consecutive individual immunity challenges, making the idol unnecessary during those tribals. He was voted out on Day 38 at the Final 3 Tribal Council (2-1 vote) when Danielle chose to take Aras to the Final 2 instead of honoring her deal with Terry. A jury poll showed 5 of 7 jurors would have voted for Terry to win had he made the Final 2.
