Ozzy found the Hidden Immunity Idol on Exile Island and crafted a fake idol (a stick wrapped in a napkin) to replace it. He was blindsided by the Black Widow Brigade on Day 27 (Episode 10, 'I Promise...') in a 5-4 vote with the real idol still in his pocket. One of the most iconic blindsides in Survivor history.

Jason found the fake idol (stick) that Ozzy had planted on Exile Island and genuinely believed it was real. He gave it to Eliza Orlins, who immediately recognized it as fake ('It's a f***ing stick!'). Eliza played it at Tribal Council on Day 24 (Episode 9) to expose that Ozzy had the real idol. Jeff confirmed it was not a real idol. This is one of the most memorable moments in Survivor history.

After Ozzy's elimination, the idol was re-hidden on Exile Island. Jason found the real idol on a subsequent Exile visit. However, he was lulled into a false sense of security by the Black Widow Brigade, who promised he was safe. He chose not to play it at Tribal Council on Day 30 (Episode 11) and was blindsided in a 4-3-1 vote while holding the genuine idol in his pocket.
