๐ Advantages & Idols
Season 36: Ghost Island
Jacob Derwin (Day 3, Ep 1)
Originally Sierra Dawn Thomas's Legacy Advantage from Season 34 (Game Changers), repurposed as a Ghost Island relic. Jacob found it when exiled to Ghost Island after Malolo lost the Day 3 immunity challenge. The twist required him to immediately will it to a member of the opposing Naviti tribe. Jacob chose Morgan Ricke as the recipient. Jacob was voted out on Day 6 without ever using it.
Morgan Ricke (Day 4, Ep 2)
Morgan received the Legacy Advantage from Jacob Derwin, finding it in her bag. The advantage granted immunity at either the final 13 or final 6. However, Morgan was voted out on Day 9 (Episode 3). Upon her elimination, she willed the Legacy Advantage to Domenick Abbate.
Domenick Abbate (Day 3, Ep 1)
Day 38, Episode 13
For: Domenick Abbate
0 votes negated
On Night 3, Domenick searched for and found a Hidden Immunity Idol at the Naviti camp. He also crafted a fake idol from this find. Domenick held the real idol for nearly the entire game, finally playing it on himself at the finale (Episode 13, Day 38). It negated no votes against him. He became the first player to simultaneously hold the Legacy Advantage and a Hidden Immunity Idol.
Domenick Abbate (Day 10, Ep 3)
Day 22, Episode 7

Domenick received the Legacy Advantage after Morgan Ricke was voted out on Day 9, finding it in his bag the following morning. He played it at the first merged tribal council on Day 22 (Episode 7), choosing the final 13 option. However, Domenick received no votes that tribal, making the play unnecessary. The votes went against Chris Noble and Libby Vincek.
Michael Yerger (Day 7, Ep 3)
Day 14, Episode 5
For: Stephanie Johnson
0 votes negated
A Ghost Island relic: one of the two idols James Clement infamously failed to play in Survivor: China (Season 15), resulting in his blindside. Michael and Brendan found it together at the Malolo camp after the tribe swap on Day 7. Michael played it on Stephanie Johnson at the Day 14 Tribal Council (Episode 5), but Stephanie received no votes. Brendan Shapiro was eliminated instead in a 5-1 vote.
Michael Yerger (Day 16, Ep 6)
Day 19, Episode 8
For: Michael Yerger
7 votes negated
A Ghost Island relic: the fake idol Ozzy Lusth crafted in Survivor: Micronesia (Season 16), which fooled Jason Siska. In Ghost Island, it was repurposed as a real, playable Hidden Immunity Idol. Michael found it at the Malolo camp. He played it on himself at the Day 19 merge tribal (Episode 8, 'The Sea Slug Slugger'), spectacularly negating 7 votes against him. The remaining votes eliminated Libby Vincek. Michael was the youngest player (18 years old) to find a Hidden Immunity Idol.
Domenick Abbate (Day 4, Ep 1)
Day 36, Episode 12
0 votes negated
A Ghost Island relic: the idol Andrea Boehlke never played in Survivor: Caramoan (Season 26). This was actually Domenick's fake idol - he crafted it to look real and gave it to Chris Noble on Day 4, claiming it was the real deal. Chris was suspicious but kept it. This was a strategic fake, not a real advantage. Domenick later bluffed with it at tribal council on Day 36 (Episode 12), handing it to Jeff Probst before the vote and claiming it was real, which scared Sebastian into not playing his Extra Vote.
Chris Noble (Day 20, Ep 7)
A Ghost Island relic: the idol J.T. Thomas failed to bring to Tribal Council in Season 34 (Game Changers). Chris found it at Ghost Island on Day 20 during the merge feast when a note in his buff directed him there. The idol was only good at the next Tribal Council, but a game of chance allowed him to extend its life. Chris extended it once but lost his vote on the second attempt. Despite holding the idol, Chris never played it and was voted out on Day 22 (Episode 7) in a dramatic blindside orchestrated by Domenick, with the idol still in his pocket.
Wendell Holland (Day 18, Ep 6)
Day 38, Episode 13
For: Laurel Johnson
1 vote negated
A Ghost Island relic: the immunity necklace Erik Reichenbach famously gave away in Survivor: Micronesia (Season 16), leading to his blindside. It was repurposed as a Hidden Immunity Idol. Wendell found it after winning the Day 18 Reward Challenge on the Yanuya tribe. He played it on Laurel Johnson at the final 5 tribal council on Day 38 (Episode 13) to solidify their bond, negating 1 vote against her. Donathan Hurley was eliminated that night.
Donathan Hurley (Day 25, Ep 9)
Day 29, Episode 10
For: Donathan Hurley
1 vote negated
A Ghost Island relic: the two idol halves from Survivor: Kaoh Rong (Season 32) that Tai Trang and Scot Pollard held. Donathan first found one powerless half (Scot's) under the shelter, then located the matching half (Tai's) to complete the functional idol. He was forced to reveal the find to tribemates who saw him searching. Donathan played the combined idol on himself at the Day 29 split tribal council (Episode 10), negating 1 vote. His ally Jenna Bowman was blindsided instead after Donathan refused her pleas to play it on her.
Kellyn Bevilaqua (Day 18, Ep 6)
Day 29, Episode 10
For: Kellyn Bevilaqua

A Ghost Island relic: Sarah Lacina's vote steal/advantage from Season 34 (Game Changers), repurposed as an Extra Vote. Kellyn received it after visiting Ghost Island on Day 18. She used it at the Day 29 double elimination split tribal council (Episode 10), casting two votes for Laurel Johnson to split votes with the group targeting Michael Yerger. Michael was eliminated in the end. The Extra Vote was then put back in play for another castaway to find.
Sebastian Noel (Day 33, Ep 11)
After Kellyn's Extra Vote was used on Day 29, it was put back into play on Ghost Island. Sebastian found it on Day 33. He planned to use it at the final 6 to blindside Domenick, but Angela revealed his plan. At tribal council, Domenick bluffed by handing his fake idol to Jeff Probst, claiming it was real. Sebastian fell for the trick and chose not to play his Extra Vote. He was voted out on Day 36 (Episode 12) still holding the advantage, the victim of Domenick's masterful bluff.
Wendell Holland (Day 35, Ep 12)
Day 36, Episode 12
For: Wendell Holland
0 votes negated
A Ghost Island relic: Malcolm Freberg's challenge advantage from Survivor: Philippines (Season 25). Wendell obtained it when he voluntarily sent himself to Ghost Island during the Family Visit twist on Day 35. The advantage gave him a second chance at the Day 36 immunity challenge. Despite using the advantage, Wendell did not win the immunity challenge, making the play unsuccessful.
Unknown (Day None, Ep None)
A Ghost Island relic: the fake idol Jay Starrett played in Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X (Season 33), originally crafted by David Wright. It was placed at the Lavita camp but remained fake and non-functional in Ghost Island as well. It served as a trap/decoy rather than a usable advantage. No player is known to have found or played this item.
